Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions together with the Policies (defined below) (the "Terms") provide information about Galo Art Gallery, and are the legal terms and conditions under which Galo Art Gallery will place Artwork (defined below) for sale on the Website on Your behalf and deliver the Services (defined below). In these Terms, "You" means the individual or entity making use of the Services and whose details are provided to us as the seller of the Artwork.

Galo Art Gallery reserves the right to alter these Terms at any time. Please ensure You review these Terms frequently so that You are aware of any such changes. If You do not agree to these Terms then You should not use the Website (defined below).

Price and Payment

1.) The price of the Artwork, is as displayed in EURO on the website at the time of purchase. Vat  and delivery costs will automatically be added by the website depending on your country of purchase and delivery unless asked to do otherwise. The price that you will pay will be confirmed in the Order Confirmation and we will supply you with your invoice from the Galo Art Gallery with in 12 hours of completing your purchase.

2.) Payment is made to us in accordance with the order process on the Website which outlines the current methods of payment which the Website accepts. Use of any payment card or method means that you are confirming that all the information contained within the order is true and accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method. Occasionally, users may be asked to provide additional information, such as clarification of personal details (for example your address), particularly to enable us to complete an order.

Return Policy

1.) There are no returns unless the artwork is damaged or if you feel the artwork was grossly misrepresented on the Site.  If the artwork arrives damaged please contact Galo Art Gallery and you will either be issued a refund or, if the artist is willing, issue another, similar piece of the same value.  (Because all original artworks for sale are one-of-a-kind these situations are handled on a case-by-case basis and there are no guarantees.)

2.) If the package has been damaged in transit (with signs of damage on the packaging) you must sign upon delivery “With Reserve” and immediately contact the Galo Art Gallery for further instructions.

Shipping policy

All packages are insured.  All products are delivered by Express Courier. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information when art is shipped. We guarantee professional packaging for all art works. If the items are immediately available in our storage the shipment will be delivered via express courier within 5/6 working days. If for any circumstance an order cannot be processed within this time, we will notify you. International buyers are responsible for paying for all taxes and duties in the country of destination.

In store pick up policy

Any orders which are requested to be picked up in store must be collected within 30 days of ordering. Failure to collect within this time will forfeit the goods back to the gallery. If contact is made with the gallery and extenuated circumstances are explained, this 30 day rule may be waived. However if no contact is made with the gallery within 30 days, the rule will remain and the goods will be forfeited.

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel the Contract between us if:

We or Our suppliers have insufficient stock to deliver the Goods You have ordered or such Goods have been discontinued; One or more of the Goods You ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If We do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of Your order. We will not be liable to pay any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.


(1)Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees

(2) We will never be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, including any economic loss or loss of profit or business whatsoever suffered by you or any third party howsoever caused, including as a result of any negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise.

(3)Other than those implied by law where a Buyer is dealing as a Consumer, in the event of our breaching any of these Terms and Conditions, your remedies are limited to damages which in no circumstance whatsoever will exceed the price of the Artwork.

(4) You will indemnify us against all claims, costs and expenses which we may incur and which arise, directly or indirectly, from your breach of any of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
